The 8th Day Productions Production Manager, will be responsible for managing A/V needs at Capital Turnaround and The Miracle Theatre. This is a full-time position and is accountable to the 8th Day Events Manager with support from the 8th Day Director.

The Production Manager will be responsible for the following as it pertains to A/V at Capital Turnaround and The Miracle Theatre. This includes but is not limited to:

• Advance rental clients’ A/V related questions and needs via email, phone, and in-person site visits prior to the rental event.
• Manage A/V contractors for rental events.
• Be onsite for rental events as needed to run A/V or as onsite support to contracted staff or vendors.
• Work with National Community Church’s (NCC) Production Director to maintain, replace, and service all A/V equipment.
• Provide on-call A/V support.
• Reset the venues between events.
• Partner with NCC Production for training, updating gear, and organizing inventory.
• Other duties as assigned.

General Requirements include, but are not limited to:

• Professional work experience in Event Production.
• Ability and willingness to work extended hours and varying weekly schedules, and to plan and execute multiple events concurrently.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision, but great accountability.
• Excellent problem-solving and customer service skills.
• Ability to stand for a sustained period of time and lift up to 50 pounds.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Excellent time-management and organizational skills with great attention to detail.
• Ability to anticipate needs, assess potential complications and problem-solve quickly.
• Positive attitude and diligent work ethic.
